I had the “never fun” colonoscopy performed at GC by Dr. Chumley. However the Dr. and staff did a great job of making the process and procedure as easy and comfortable as possible. I had no issues before nor after the procedure. I would highly recommend GC of SA!

After undergoing a colon resection 6 years ago, I had to recently submit to a recall colonoscopy. On the day of the procedure, I was very concerned about the outcome. Dr. Swan was emphatic about the fact that I was stressed (my previous gastroenterologist in VA knew my medical situation as he was involved in the resection process and Dr. Swan was my new gastroenterologist here). My fears were put to rest when it was evident that Dr. Swan was familiar with my medical history and very competent. Dr. Swan was very kind to me and I needed it the day of my colonoscopy. The basis for my trust and engagement with Dr. Swan as my new doctor case was largely due to his communication and interaction with me, addressing my questions and demonstrating empathy for my concerns. Dr. Swan and his staff are a great team that have my thanks for taking good care of patients!

I went for a consultation with Dr. Alfredo Espinoza. My appointment was @ 330 pm, and the office called me the day before the appointment to let me know of an opening for an earlier. I thought that was showing very good hospitality. I arrived at 2 and was helped by Adrianna. She was helpful friendly and informative. Waiting for 15 mins & was already in the room. Then it took 10 mins to meet with dr. He was very friendly, asked for my issues, documented . & examined me appropriately.  I recommend for all who may have tummy troubles meet a GI & they will help find a fix

I saw Dr. Jackson for the first time on October 2, 2019. His staff was excellent in getting my medical information: BP, weight and etc. My wait time for Dr. Jackson was almost immediate. We discussed my medical information and situation. He was knowledgeable about my condition and prescribed a series of short term treatments to possibly eliminate my problem and if those did not work, he set me up for a procedure date. When I left his office I felt this is the kind of doctor I want to be seen by. He is professional and has a great personality.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Richard Shaffer. It took him a very short time to identify my problem and recommend treatment and exercise. I liked his pleasant manner, professionalism, thoroughness and straightforwardness in explaining my health issues. The staff at Gastroenterology were all pleasant and helpful. Things seem to run very smoothly and on time in that group.

I began seeing Dr. Arnold in March 2019 on the recommendation of my primary care physician. I have liver disease – ascites and cirrhosis. He’s a fine doctor. He’s been present, professional and, engaged in our meetings. He listens, answers questions, asks questions in a warm caring manner, not an interrogation fill-in-the-box Q and A. He’s informative, honest, doesn’t guild the lily and he’s humorous on occasion. His staff has always been helpful and polite. I am encouraged by his care and the progress I have made.
