Sonia Rodriguez earned her master’s degree from University of Florida and her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, both in human nutrition and dietetics. She completed a dietetics internship at University of Florida and has been a licensed registered dietitian for 8 years and a certified diabetes educator for 5 years.
Sonia’s passion for nutrition counseling began while working in a nutritional biochemistry lab in college. After observing the differences that lifestyle and dietary habits can have on individual health outcomes, she became interested in helping others translate the science of nutrition into their daily lives. Sonia enjoys building relationships with her patients and sharing in their successes as they work toward better health.
In her spare time, Sonia enjoys cooking, exercising and spending time with her husband and their young daughter. She loves the outdoors and makes frequent visits to local parks and farmers markets around her hometown of San Antonio.
