Dr. Del Chumley, founding member of Gastroenterology Consultants to San Antonio, will receive the Golden Aesculapius Award from the Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS) in January.
BCMS established the Golden Aesculapius Award in 1980 as it’s highest honor. The award recognizes a lifetime of distinguished service to patients and the medical profession.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Chumley attended Central Catholic High School and has spent the last four decades in private practice.
The presentation will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Mays Family Center at the Witte Museum.
